Former state house digital strategist Dennis Itumbi is yet to gain freedom from the enclave he put himself in by drafting an alleged fake letter about DP William Ruto’s assassination plot.

Chief magistrate Martha Mutuku has found that renown hustler nation chief propagandist has a case to answer under section 66 of the Kenyan constitution over his sensitive claims that pushed political temperatures to a new high at that time.

Itumbi was earlier in 2019 arrested at city hall and driven for questioning at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters on Kiambu Road.

The letter purported to expose plans by Mt Kenya leaders to eliminate Deputy President William Ruto also saw three Cabinet Secretaries being summoned to the DCI headquarters on June 24, 2019, over the ‘murder plot’

With the assistance of the US Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), the investigating officers zeroed on Itumbi and his co-accused Sam Terris as the engineers behind the letter.
