“From the age of 15-17 I had already taken my self as an orphan yet my parents were alive. I had to take myself out of the poverty chain. “– Jalango

Morning Kiss host Jalango has reacted to photos of high school students after they were caught dead drunk.

Jalango says it’s high time kids empathize with parents as they are struggling so much to even have them in school.

He says he somehow understands what the students might be going through as he and his siblings had to fend for themselves from an early age.

“It got to a point where our parents had to depend on us.

From the age of 15-17 I had already taken myself as an orphan yet my parents were alive.

I had to take myself out of the poverty chain. My brothers and I knew it was us who could take my parents out of there.

When a child is in secondary school it means you are an average parent.”

“As a child you should never forget where you come from.

You should not forget where you come from. You should remember how many times you have missed a meal, how many times your house has been locked.

Your parents can be there but immediately you leave do you become wild because your parents are not there? THose photos should be printed and hang in every school to serve as a reminder to the students.

I think when such is done, the students watalainika”

Kamene was supported Jalango saying as much as no one is perfect, the current wave of bad behavior is worrying.

The big question is who is to blame?
